Romulus and Remus are born according to Plutarch in BC AYN 770 (771 BCE). Plutarch says that Romulus was 53 (“in the fifty-fourth year of his age”) at his death (Plutarch says that he vanished) in 717 BC. Note that this is concurrent (3rd year) with Pekah the son of Remaliah’s (רמליה) reign and uses the same Hebrew root-stem name sake for Romulus (רמל) as Remaliah (רמליה). Romulus at the founding of Rome was 18 years age, see BC AYN 752 (1 Ab Urbe Condita).
